So I have a lot happening in the upcoming months. I'm not in a rush to tell everyone what's going on so you'll just have to wait to find out.
To prepare for one of my new gigs, I had the privilege of doing some one on one training with Kyle Green who is a photojournalist with The Roanoke Times. You can check out his bio here and view his work here. Kyle is a really cool guy and I got a lot out of my afternoon. I think my photos will start to reflect what he showed me.
As luck would have it, I had lined up a few volunteer models to help me work on some techniques that I've had in mind, which happened to fall on the same day I met with Kyle. This week I'll be featuring a different model each day who came and helped me out. Although each pose and outfit was planned before hand, it's definitely a week's worth of posts, so check the blog daily.
You'll also notice I took head shots of each model. I took a portrait of a friend of mine last week at the mall in Christiansburg and I'm sort of obsessed with taking head shots now. Don't worry though, I won't start clogging up my posts with portraits of people even though they are really cool and fun to shoot.
