do you just approach people on the street to ask if you can take their photos? i've always wanted to do that, but i've never had the balls to do it. i feel like they would think i was a crazy person or something.
i'm in blacksburg too, not trying to encroach on your fashion blogging, i'm more just into photography. :] do you give them a card or something to make them feel more at ease and let them know where to see the photo later?
Holly, that is a good question! And no worries about stepping on my toes, there's not quota for street photograhers in any town so feel free to join in on the fun. I'll be happy to tell you how I approach people but why don't you send me an email, not that I don't want to let everyone know what I do, it just could take a bit of typing.
