Street Style... " Tunic Talk," Charleston
I love tunics. I love them as dresses, I love them as tops, I love them when they are not short nor long and ladies wear them with tights. I also love them as cover ups at the beach or pool. For something that isn't too curve revealing, it is one of my favorite garments on a woman, so feminine and so damn sexy. Buy a few tunics ladies, the men in your life will thank you.

Street Style... Dapper Tim, King St., Charleston
Tim is the owner of 319 Men on King Street downtown Charleston, SC. He and his sharply dressed staff enjoy the foot traffic on King Street at the doorway of 319. I actually bought some black silk braces (suspenders) from his shop when I still lived in Charleston.

Street Style... "Chambrey and Denim," King St. Charleston
If you read my To Code: last week on Denim wear, you can see this is a great example of how to wear chambray with denim. There is a lot going on here though that is great, all the gold colors, men sized watch.
What do you see that you like?

Street Style... Morrison Dr., Charleston, SC
I got to briefly meet Desmond Kinlaw while in Charleston for the day last week. He was voted one of Charleston 10 Most Stylish 2012 for Charleston Magazine. He also recently started a blog called Chinos & Cheesecake. From what a friend told me last week, after his shoot for Charleston Mag he's hooked to this thing called fashion. Welcome to the game Sir.

Downtown... "Preppy Meets Pretty Lady," Charleston
Denim (or more accurately chambray) shirts have been my go too shirt for several years now, its probably because I got use to the weight of my uniform in my Air Force days and needed to replace that feeling. Aside of that, I absolutely love when women wear these shirts, when fitted with the right cut it can become the only shirt you need to own, worn a different way every day. Get some Denim up top ladies.

Downtown... Ladies Southern Fashion? You decided. Charleston
I feel sometimes that women's "Southern Fashion" is stereotyped as preppy with big hair. Who knows really, but if I were to put title on this look, to me I would say confidently that this is what comes to mind when I think of southern fashion on the ladies.

Downtown... "Short Business" Charleston
Unless you've never read a history book or seen a period movie, you will have noticed how much mens fashion reflects those more refined decades of our past in recent years (Like the look above which I love). When dressing well was a masculine trait, and not something only "girly" men did. I've been watching some of the treds designers have been trying to push lately, Imagine the 90's have a baby with the 40's, and Jnco jeans collaborate with Brooks Brothers. I think its best we avoid ever revisiting any forms of mens fashion from about 1979 - 2004, EVER!

Same Shoes Different Lace
I loved his style here, polo shirt, bow tie, It was very unique and consist to what I'm guessing is his style uniform. What I liked even more, instead of packing five different pairs of shoes, he just swapped out his shoe laces to match the color of his outfit. Pretty nifty.

Red Carpet... Charleston Fashion Week
Vanessa Lachey, looking absolutely stunning (and pregnant) while in Charleston. I thought Nick Lachey might have passed on the trip down South, but Vanessa told me that he was just hanging out at the B&B they were put up in while she got her glam on. She was quite the beauty and very easy to talk to.
